Tools for Floral Design
- Sharp Knife - for cutting soft or thin stems
- Bypass Pruners - for thicker stems and branches
- Wire Cutters

Supplies for Floral Design
- Floral Foam (Oasis): when saturated with water it is used to anchor stems.
- Pin Holders: to hold flower stems erect. Consisting of a heavy base and sharp, upright metal pins, stems are held on or between the pins. Pin holders are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes and should be chosen to suit the thickness of the stems being used.
- Wire (tape-wrapped, painted or bare): used to support, replace or shape stems.
- Water Picks: for adding short-stemmed flowers such as orchids.
- Vases and Containers: limited only by the imagination. Anything that will hold water or saturated floral foam, and suits the design of the arrangement can be used.
