Premium Gift Baskets

Grower Direct has been selling flowers for over two decades and during that time we have developed a pretty loyal group of customers. Over the years many of these customers commented that they would like to see Grower Direct  expand it's line of products to include gift baskets and gourmet food hampers.

One thing that was apparent to us when reviewing their comments was that our customers viewed Grower Direct as a retailer that they had come to trust and depend on for quality affordable products. So, the challenge that lay ahead of us in developing a line of gift baskets was to ensure that they fulfilled our customers expectations.

The first step was research to determine what exactly the retail gift basket market looked like and if we could introduce a product that we felt would best serve our customers needs and provide the value they have come to expect. What we quickly found was that many basket retailers featured product that is very similar and for lack of a better term, mundane. In fact, sometimes to the point where most of the products are available directly from the local grocer or drug store. It appeared at times that building a basket consisted of no more than pushing a shopping cart through the local supermarket. This was not what we were looking to provide our customers with and we set out to do better.

So after investing a good deal of time researching and sourcing out quality premium products we have introduced our first Premium Gift Baskets! Each of our Premium Gift Baskets are built around a theme and feature quality specialty products that we have tested in house. After all, we would not sell our customers something that we were not excited about ourselves. We have avoided going down the same road as many of our competitors and simply stuffing a basket as full as possible of the lowest priced products available, we for one do not feel this is good value or the kind of gift most of our customers would be happy to give. The vast majority of our products cannot be found in the local grocery store. Our baskets are exceptional interesting treats and gifts that are sure to bring smiles to all the faces in the office, the hospital, the hotel or around the family home.So far the response has been great based on the comments and testimonials we have had customers send into us.
