Introducing the World's First Glow in the Dark Plant
Variety is the spice of life! Breeders are always creating new varieties of plants and flowers, such as glow in the dark flowers! And now you can buy glow in the dark plants! According to a plant breeder in the Netherlands, this is the first time anyone has successfully created a plant that glows in the dark. Amigo Plant has bred a star-shaped succulent named "Glowing Star in the Dark" that emits a bright green light at night and glows like a twinkling star! After years of hard work to develop this plant, the process, of course, is kept top-secret.
The Glowing Star in the Dark is special, but it doesn't require any special care. Essentially, it's just a regular succulent plant with glow in the dark properties. Just make sure it receives enough light. During the day, the plant absorbs light, either from the sun or a lamp and at night it becomes luminous. The materials used in the product are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
The plant has been available for purchase since the end of October 2012 and was recently showcased at the latest FloraHolland Trade Fair . The plant would make a fun novelty gift for kids and adults! The company expects the plant to be a top seller, especially during the holiday season.
